Press Registration Opens for $10 million Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE Competition Events
Scored vehicle performance and efficiency testing will be held at Michigan International Speedway
in Brooklyn, MI between April 26 and July 30
The Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE, a $10 million competition to inspire a new generation of viable, super-efficient vehicles, opens press registration today for its on-track competition stages with the launch of a Virtual Press Office at www.progressiveautoxprize.org/credentials. In addition to requesting credentials to witness the competition events at the Michigan International Speedway (MIS) in Brooklyn, MI, members of the press can obtain detailed information about the competition, participating teams and vehicles, as well as travel and hotel accommodations.
The Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE is dedicated to providing members of the press with unique, behind the scenes access to each of the competition stage events in Michigan. Credentialed press will get an up close and personal look at the vehicles and technologies that will shape the future of the automobile industry, help break America’s dependence on oil, stem the effects of global climate change, and deliver more fuel efficient vehicle choices for drivers.
Press credentials may be requested online at www.progressiveautoxprize.org/credentials between March 31 and April 23. The mailing deadline for press credentials is April 16. Credentials requested after this date will be made available for pick up at Michigan International Speedway beginning April 28. All competition events will be held at:
